Konnichiwa

Konnichiwa ("Good Afternoon" in Japanese) uses Japanese cotton yukata samples that my Japanese friend, Akemi Konishi, gave to me. It uses the World's Fair pattern.

Honors:

• Konnichiwa won Best of Show at the Rockome Gardens Quilt Celebration, Arcola, IL in l993.
• It appears with the pattern in America's Best Quilting Projects, l996, published by Rodale Press.
