Mothers_Day

Needing a project to work on while travelling, the borders in each square were designed to applique on trips.
The silhouettes in the middle of each square were adapted from Swiss Scherenschnitte designs.

Honors:

  • First prize in applique at Quilt America, Indianapolis, 2001.
  • First Place at The Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza VIII, 2001.
  • Timeless Treasures Hand Workmanship Award ($12,000) at AQS Show, Paducah, KY, 2002.
  • Now in the permanent collection of the Museum of the American Quilter's Society.
