I've enjoyed working with art nouveau designs because of the graceful, flowing lines and interpretation of forms derived from nature. Enjoy appliqueing a floral block, learning methods for smoothing curved lines and using take-away applique for the multipieced flowers.

The pattern (provided in class) makes a beautiful small wallhanging or is the perfect starting point for an art nouveau quilt.
